DJI Mavic Pro

Drones are a thing.  A very exciting thing. The DJI Mavic Pro is therefore an exciting thing.  The Mavic Pro sits firmly in prosumer territory, too good to be classed as a toy, not priced so crazy that it puts you in debt.  It’s the perfect drone to buy the man in your life (or for yourself) when you have no idea what drone to buy.

The DJI Mavic Pro – it oozes tech.

DJI have been leaders in the drone field for over ten years now and produce some seriously high end drones used by the film & TV industry.  This technology is available, albeit in a cut down form, in the Mavic Pro.  It’s a truly compact drone that folds away and can easily fit in your backpack, or pocket if you have slightly oversized pockets!  If you were to buy it’s lesser sibling the DJI Spark you might be heading for a ribbing by your mates… the Mavic Pro is the one to pick for ease of use and quality video and images.

Should I get a Spark?

Frankly speaking the DJI Spark is a quality into drone, but it’s going to leave you wanting more. The Mavic Pro loses the lunar lander design of the Phantom 3 & 4 and the controller has shrunk to something more akin to an X-box controller rather than a 1960s sci-fi prop. So it looks the part and performs well too.  The Spark doesn’t have a controller as standard, and it comes with the choice of different colored shells which just makes it that bit closer to being toy.

The Mavic Pro just oozes tech. It’s a very desirable piece of equipment.

It’s even cool in the box.

Take it to the beach. Take it mountain biking. Take it skiing. Take it with you where-ever you go.

You can buy the Mavic Pro direct from DJI or look at the discounted packages available on Amazon.
