Nintendo Switch – redefining gaming again.

Nintendo is the grandfather of gaming, putting experience and innovation before processing power. We saw great gaming on the NES, the SNES, the Gamecube, the N64, the Wii, the Gameboy, the DS and now on Nintendo Switch.

The Nintendo Switch is a truly groundbreaking console the brigdes the divide between home console gaming and portable handheld gaming.  The console comes with a dock that connects to your TV for that full home TV experience.  However remove the console from the dock and you find it has a 6.2 inch touch screen to allow portable handheld gaming. Even better the controller splits in two and attaches to either side of the screen.  Further options allow you to use the two halves of the controller individually for two player gaming. Nintendo calls this Table Top mode. The video below explains it all…

Sure the Nintendo Switch might not have the polygon pushing power of the PS4 or Xbox One, but then neither did the Nintendo Wii. With Nintendo it has always been about the gaming experience and the Switch is no exception. Nintendo has just announced the Nintendo Labo which brings the gaming experience out of the screen and into the physical world.

The Nintendo Switch is available at your local games store, electrical retailer and online at Amazon.com
